Detective charged with stalking to appear in court

A Metropolitan Police Detective has been charged with stalking his former partner.

Detective Constable Timothy Fory, attached to the Directorate of Professional Standards, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 12 March.

The charge of stalking relates to a series of incidents that took place between June and September 2024, where it is reported DC Fory stalked his ex-girlfriend. The alleged events occurred while he was off-duty.

He was immediately suspended from duty after being arrested for the offence on Friday, 20 September 2024.
