Man to appear in court following murder in Hammersmith
A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder, following a fatal stabbing in Hammersmith.
Ahmed Said, 31 (01.11.1994) of Lena Gardens, Hammersmith will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 March at 10:00hrs.
The charge relates to the death of a man on Sunday, 15 March. The victim, an 18-year-old, has since been named as Berkan Demir.
His family have asked for privacy at this time.
A post-mortem examination took place on Tuesday, 17 March and confirmed the cause of death as sharp force trauma to the left side of the neck.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command continue to lead the investigation.
