Two charged following murder of Antonios Antoniadis

A man whose image we circulated in connection with the murder of Antonios Antoniadis in Lewisham has been arrested and charged.

Joshua McCorquodale was arrested on Monday, 29 July. The following day he was charged with Antonios’ murder.

McCorquodale, 20 (03.08.04), from Camden, appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 31 July.

Two others who have been charged with murder – 19-year-old Sofian Alliche and a 17-year-old – appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday, 29 July.

A further man has also been charged. Shian Johnson 25 (14.07.99), from Camden was arrested on Sunday, 28 July and charged the following day with murder. He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 30 July.

A trial date has been set for June 2025.

+ Three further arrests have been made in connection with the investigation. Three men – aged 19, 19 and 20 – were arrested on Sunday, 28 and Monday, 29 July on suspicion of assisting an offender. They were taken into custody and later bailed to return pending further enquiries.
