Witness appeal after man dies in collision
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Enfield.
On Sunday, 15 March at around 22:20hrs, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Hertford Road, Enfield.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
A 60-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics. Despite their best efforts, he sadly died. The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage from the area at the time of the collision.
Detective Sergeant Fiaz Janjua, from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
“We are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
“Any detail may assist our investigation so please come forward if you can help.”
