Appeal following fatal collision on the M25

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the M25.

Police were called to Junction 29 of the M25 at 19:52hrs on Friday, 3 April following reports of a collision involving three cars and a HGV.

Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. A 23-year-old woman from east London sadly died at the scene.

Her family are aware and continue to be supported by specialist officers.

No other injuries were reported.

The junction remained closed until approximately 05:00hrs on Saturday, 4 April.

No arrests have been made and enquiries remain ongoing. Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 6459/4APR, or independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
