Appeal for information after serious collision in Harlesden

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision which left a man with life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, 4 February at around 19:25hrs, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on High Street, Harlesden.

Officers attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.

A 41-year-old man was assessed by paramedics before being taken to hospital. He remains in a life-threatening condition.

The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made at this stage.

Police are now appealing to the public for any information about the incident, particularly dashcam footage of the collision.

Detective Sergeant Fiaz Janjua, from the Met’s Serious Collison Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this incident and our investigation remains ongoing.

“We continue to review relevant CCTV footage. We are appealing to the public for help and ask that anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police as soon as possible. Any information could assist enquiries.
