Appeal for missing man from Sutton

The Met Police are concerned for the welfare of a 22-year-old man who is missing from Sutton.

Ramel, who is autistic and non-verbal, left his home in south London at 00.10hrs last night.

He is described as being about 5ft10, of slim build with short black afro hair. He was last seen wearing a green pyjama top.

Ramel has transport links to get around London, and may have travelled in this time.

Anyone who may have seen him or believes they have information is urged to call 101 quoting CAD 259/1Jan.

Ramel’s mother said: “We are very worried, he has not been missing this long before. We just want him home.”

Detective Inspector Anselm Hartley, who is leading the investigation, said: “Ramel is extremely vulnerable and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“Last night was very cold and temperatures are expected to be low again tonight. It is really important that we find him, and we find him quickly.

“If you have seen Ramel or believe you might have information please contact the police immediately.”
