Appeal for witnesses following serious collision in Bromley
The Met is appealing for witnesses after a 15‑year‑old boy was seriously injured in a road traffic collision on Hawthorn Grove, Bromley, SE20.
Police were called at approximately 16:30hrs on Tuesday, 27 January to reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service. A 15‑year‑old boy was found with serious injuries and was taken to a south London hospital, where he remains in a life‑threatening condition.
Investigators are particularly keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have captured footage on dash cam or other devices.
The teenager’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries are ongoing.
