Man charged after burglary of jeweller's in Shepherd's Bush
A man has been charged following a smash and grab raid in Shepherd’s Bush in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police were called to a jeweller’s shop in Uxbridge Road at 03:31hrs on Thursday, 29 January, to reports that thieves were using tools to smash their way through security shutters, before stealing high-value jewellery.
Officers arrived at the scene within minutes. One man was detained at the scene and taken into custody.
Overnight, Jason Daley, 33 (29.09.1992), of Priory Park Road, Brent, was charged with burglary and criminal damage.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday, 30 January.
Our enquiries to find a number of other suspects, who fled the scene on mopeds, remains ongoing.
