Man charged with murder following Wembley Stabbing

A man has been charged following the death of a 22-year-old man.

Kevon Jenkins, 22 (04.08.03) of Wharton Close, Brent has been charged with murder and possession of a pointed and bladed article following a stabbing on High Road, Wembley on Monday, 1 December.

He will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 4 December.

Police were called at around 12:55hrs on Monday, 1 December, to reports of a stabbing.

A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene but sadly later died in hospital. His family continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Jenkins was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, 2 December. A woman, aged 21, was arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
