Man charged with murder following Willesden fatal collision
A man has been charged with murder following a fatal collision in Willesden on Wednesday, 3 December.
Shakaine Dwyer, 29 (29.07.96), of Willesden, was charged with murder on Monday, 29 December. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 January 2026.
Dwyer was previously charged on Sunday, 7 December with causing death by dangerous driving.
Police were called to Chapel Close, Willesden at 12:44hrs following reports of a collision between a car and pedestrians.
Met officers responded and a man in his 30s sadly died at the scene. He has since been named as Ruben Nunes, 34, from Peterborough. His family are aware and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
A police investigation was launched on Wednesday, 3 December and a man was arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday, 4 December.
A second man has also been charged in connection with this investigation.
Gregory Ejiofor, 31 (19.09.94), of Milton Keynes appeared in custody on Tuesday, 9 December charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence (S16A Firearms Act 1968). He will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday, 6 January.
