Man charged with murder of a boy
A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder after the death of a boy in Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park in Ladbroke Grove.
Abderahman Boumzough, 25 (06.07.00) of no fixed address was charged on Wednesday, 3 September. He will appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 3 September.
A murder investigation was launched after 15-year old Rene Graham died in the park from gunshot wounds at around 19:20hrs on Sunday, 21 July 2024. A second man was also shot at but escaped unharmed.
Boumzough was arrested on Tuesday, 2 September before being charged.
Rene’s family have been informed and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
The police investigation continues. A £20,000 Crimestoppers reward for information that leads to conviction remains on offer.
