Man further charged for sexual offences against children

A 45-year-old British man was charged on Friday, 16 January with 15 further offences relating to possession of indecent images of children and acts of outraging public decency.

Vincent Chan, 45 (28.10.80), of Stanhope Avenue, Finchley was charged on Friday, 16 January with the following offences:

• Nine counts of taking an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child, at category A, B and C

• Six counts of acts of outraging public decency

The charges relate to nine separate girls.

The charges relate to offending which predates other offences, which Chan has already pleaded guilty to. He awaits sentencing.

Those offences involved offending at a nursery in West Hampstead. These new charges did not take place at the same location.

Officers continue to work at pace and the investigation is ongoing.

Chan remains in custody.
