Police appeal for witnesses following firearm discharge in north London
Met detectives are appealing to anyone with information or who may have witnessed a firearm discharge on Fairbanks Road, Haringey on Thursday, 21 August.
A firearm was discharged several times at approximately 19:50hrs during a fight between a group of men on the road. This incident is now being investigated by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Detective Constable Emma Richards, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command North, said: “Were you in or near to Fairbanks Road, N17 between 19:45hrs and 20:00hrs and know anything about this incident? Did you hear gunshots?
“If so, we are asking witnesses to step forward and tell us what they heard or saw.
“If you have any information at all that may help us with this investigation, please call 101 and reference CAD 6779/21AUG.”
