Police appeal over missing man in Westminster

Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing man from Westminster.

Detectives from the Met are urgently seeking assistance to locate Gareth who was last seen a week ago.

Gareth, 45, has been missing since Wednesday, 3 December, after leaving his son’s hospital bedside at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. Despite extensive enquiries, there have been no confirmed sightings since he left the hospital.

Detective Inspector Joseph Cato from the Met’s Missing Persons Unit said: “We, alongside Gareth’s family, are increasingly concerned for his welfare. We are asking anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to contact us immediately.”

“Gareth was last seen wearing a grey beanie, a dark blue Adidas coat, a black jumper with a Hugo logo on the chest, and dark trousers. He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, clean-shaven, and bald.”

If you have any information about Gareth’s whereabouts, please dial 999 quoting CAD 5601/4Dec.

Gareth is believed to have connections to Westminster, Harrow, Islington, Devon, and Cornwall.
