Three charged over Knightsbridge armed robbery

Three men have been charged with the armed robbery of a store in Knightsbridge.

Officers were called to reports of a robbery in progress at a shop on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, at 10.53hrs on Tuesday, 20 January.

It was alleged suspects entered the store and threatened staff and members of the public with weapons, before making off with a number of high value watches. No injuries were reported.

An investigation was immediately launched by the Met’s Flying Squad and three men were arrested in co-ordinated raids within two weeks of the offence, in the early hours of Thursday, 5 February.

  • Dean Dinan, 29 (16.11.1996), of Cloudesley Road, Islington, has been charged with robbery, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of criminal property.
  • Elliot Campbell, 31 (10.10.1994), of Milner Square, Islington, has been charged with robbery, possession of criminal property and possession of drugs.
  • Dyllan Gowie, 27 (19.02.1998), of Ackroyd Drive, Tower Hamlets, has been charged with robbery and possession of drugs.

They will appear at Highbury Magistrates Court on Friday, 6 February.
