Two men charged in connection with Heathrow incident
Two men are due to appear in court today, Tuesday, 9 December charged in connection with an assault and robbery at a Heathrow Airport car park.
Tyrone Richards, 31 (05.12.94), of no fixed address and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24 (20.05.01) of Manlet Close SW16 are due to appear at Hillingdon Magistrates’ Court charged with robbery.
The charges are part of an investigation into an assault which took place on Sunday, 7 December within a multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 when a substance was sprayed during the robbery of two women.
A number of people were affected by the substance, with five taken to hospital. All were later discharged.
Officers have made a number of arrests in connection with the investigation.
A 31-year-old man was arrested close to the scene. He was later charged as above.
On Monday, 8 December officers arrested a 24-year-old man who was later charged as above. A 23-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. She was later released on bail pending further enquiries. A second 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. She was later released under investigation.
Later on Monday, 8 December a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody.
