Victim named in Feltham fatal stabbing

An 18-year-old man who died following a stabbing on Monday, 12 January has been named as Maliki Sharma from Feltham.

Police were called to Victoria Road, Feltham at around 17:00hrs following reports of a stabbing. Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance Service and located an 18-year-old with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, where despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was sadly pronounced dead.

Maliki’s family continue to be supported be specialist officers.

Investigating officers arrested two 16-year-old boys on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon within one day of Maliki’s death. Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, they were bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives continue to pursue every available line of enquiry. Local residents may also notice an increased police presence in the area in the coming days, where officers will be available to listen to any concerns from the community.

A 19-year-old man was also arrested following allegations of an assault and has since been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

Rhys Huskinson, 19 (31.12.06) of Feltham will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 15 January. It is alleged that Hutchinson assaulted a 16-year-old boy during the incident on Monday, 12 January.
