Vulnerable man missing from Orpington

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a 73-year-old man who was last seen close to Poverest Park, Orpington.

John was reported missing on Sunday, 27 July and was last seen at 08:58hrs leaving his home.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, navy bomber jacket, black jeans and navy crocs. He has dementia and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

John was captured via CCTV at Orpington train station, paying cash for a ticket. However, it is not known where he travelled to.

He has links to Brixton and Camberwell.

Inspector Chris Mackin, from the South Area missing persons unit, said:

“We are doing our very best to find John, but we are becoming increasingly worried about him.

“His family and friends are extremely anxious to find him – if you see him or have any information, please get in touch with us.”
